Formula Ford graduate Alex Walker joins Elite Motorsport in GB4, as he returns to slicks and wings racing for the first time in three years. Walker very nearly won last year’s National Formula Ford 1600 Championship thanks to eight wins and five additional podiums, with triumphs coming at Donington Park, Knockhill, Brands Hatch, Oulton Park and Snetterton.

The 18-year-old was a finalist in the recent Porsche GB Junior shootout, and began his car racing career in 2019 with 12 races in the British F4 Championship, before moving over to Formula Ford.

Previously, he had competed and won at British, European and World level in karting. Like teammate Sherwood, Walker has been inducted into Motorsport UK’s Team UK Futures Year One programme, and is very much a name to watch this weekend.
