2023 GB4 champion Tom Mills recorded the quickest lap of the day in the final session of the first day of GB4 testing at Oulton Park.
Mills recorded a best lap of 1m34.276s to put himself over seven tenths of a second clear of the field.
It was much closer behind him though, with Graham Brunton Racing’s Mayer Deonarine the quickest of the confirmed drivers for the 2025 season, with the Canadian’s best time coming in session three, and was the quickest time set in that test.
Elite Motorsport’s Alex Kattoulas was next up and only 0.032s in arrears thanks to his session four time, having led session two, with teammate Isaac Phelps next up and a couple of tenths further back.
The third Elite car of Aryaman Bansal was fifth fastest, 0.004s away with his session three effort, with the lead Fortec car of Jack Taylor completing the top-six.
Douglas Motorsport duo Luke Hilton and Dayton Coulthard were next up, separated by 0.009s with Hilton leading the first session of the day.
The second KMR car of Megan Bruce was ninth quickest, 0.010s away from Coulthard and 0.071s ahead of the lead Arden car of Leon Wilson.
16 cars participated in the test, with running set to resume in Cheshire tomorrow with four more sessions.
