Ginetta Junior graduate Jack Sherwood is another driver to be making their single-seater debut this weekend, and remains with Elite Motorsport as he makes the step up. The 15-year-old was 15th in Ginetta Juniors with the team last year, and one of the leading rookies in the category, during his first year out of karts.

He was named as the winner of the ‘Hard Charger’ award in the 2021 Ginetta Junior Winter Series, for the driver who gained the most positions from their grid slots during the event, gaining a total of 20 places across four races. Look out for him in the reverse grid contest on Sunday afternoon!

The Leicestershire driver was an early signing for the championship, so has taken in plenty of laps around the team’s local Snetterton circuit plus many of the other venues the championship will visit this year.
