15 April 2025

Elite Motorsport’s Alex Kattoulas registered the fastest time of the day as the GB4 Championship field reassembled for a test day on the Brands Hatch GP circuit on Tuesday.

The Japanese-Greek driver set his best time in the third of four sessions when track conditions were at their most favourable, recording a 1m26.690s to lead teammate Isaac Phelps by just 0.025 seconds.

Ary Bansal, like Phelps, a race winner at the Donington Park season opener, completed an Elite 1-2-3, and was just 0.045s in arrears.

The Elite trio were just over a tenth of a second clear of Arden’s Leon Wilson who was fourth, with Fortec’s Jack Taylor fifth and less than two tenths of a second further back.

Douglas Motorsport’s Luke Hilton and Enzo Hallman were next up with the latter one of just two drivers to record their best times in the final session. Both were within eight tenths of the fastest time, and the final drivers within a second of Kattoulas’ outright best.

Arden’s Ava Dobson and KMR Sport’s Megan Bruce were separated by a tenth of a second in eighth and ninth, with Fortec’s Thomas Ingram Hill completing the top-10.

The GB4 field will reconvene at Silverstone in just over a week’s time, for further testing ahead of the second event of the season.
