Welsh karting contender Neirin Evans will step up to the 2025 GB4 Championship with Rossoverde Scorpio Racing.

The 16-year-old only began his karting career at the age of 13 after sampling indoor karting as a 12-year-old, but quickly demonstrated his potential by being signed up to the Castle Combe Autumn Junior Championship. 

The Cardiff resident has also competed in the Daniel Ricciardo Series and reached the World Karting Finals in Milan. He is a member of the Young Racing Driver Academy, with previous alumni including F1 race winner Oscar Piastri.

His first experience in a single-seater came at the end of 2024, when he tested previous generation GB4 machinery. Since then, he’s completed further tests in the new Tatuus MSV GB4-025 car with Rossoverde Scorpio Racing at both Silverstone and Donington Park.

He now makes the step into car racing for the first time, with mentorship from former Formula 2 racer Calan Williams, while balancing his A Level studies at the prestigious Radley College.
