Alexandros Kattoulas will make his debut in the GB4 Championship with Elite Motorsport this year.
The 19-year-old Japanese/Greek driver made his single-seater race debut at Donington Park last September in the GB3 Championship, racing the Tatuus MSV-022 machine that has now been modified for GB4 use in 2025.
Alexandros, who grew up in Singapore and is currently based in Nottingham, won the 2015 ROK Cup Singapore/Asia Cadet Kart Championship and finished second in the Singapore Championship.
He raced in Europe in 2016, finishing ahead of 2025 Mercedes F1 driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli on the way to fifth place in the WSK Final Cup – 60 Mini category the same year.
Sixth place in the Swedish Championship OK Junior division followed the year later with further progress in 2018 after strong showings in the WSK Champions Cup, again in OK Junior. Kattoulas also competed in the FIA European and World Karting Championships.
Alexandros Kattoulas said: “My aim is to continue to learn and achieve the results I know I can. My experience level will match those in GB4, so in my maiden single-seater season, I feel like I can be competitive.
“I’m very excited to be racing in GB4 this year and to be with Elite Motorsport. I’ll benefit from their experience having raced in GB3 since 2021 and GB4 for the past two years.
“I’ll be working with them over the winter in preparation for 2025 and I can't wait to get started!”
Team Owner and Manager Eddie Ives said: “I’m really pleased that our first announcement for GB4 is with Alex.
“We have worked with him for a few months now and I know he will be a fantastic asset to our team.
“He’s great to work with and I have no doubts on his abilities and speed.”
