Viewers watching the GB4 live coverage from Donington Park this weekend will be able to take a closer look at the Tatuus MSV GB4-025 car to be used in next year’s championship.
British F3 race-winner and GB3/GB4 presenter and commentator Piers Prior is the latest driver to sample the new machine for 2025, and the TV feature this weekend will not only show the car on circuit at Donington Park, but will offer a perspective from the driver’s eye view.
“I had a massive smile on my face after driving the new GB4 car, I loved driving it” Prior commented. “It feels really easy to push and really inviting, the more you push the more the car enjoys it.
“It’s going to be really good stepping stone either for those coming out of karting or their first experience of single-seater slicks and wings. It’s really friendly to drive, on the limit it gives you a bit of warning as to when it’s going to snap, and when it does it you’re able to catch it. But at the same time it’s got the high speed grip from the extra downforce, which I think will be a real hit with the drivers.
“I feel jealous of the drivers that are going to be racing the car next year, but I’ll be commentating with a smile on my face knowing how much the drivers are enjoying themselves!”
