KMR Sport’s Lucas Blakeley set the fastest GB4 lap of the week in Friday’s final test session at Donington Park.
The Scottish driver set his outright best lap of 1m28.547s on his penultimate lap of the 35-minute session, putting him 0.240s clear of Fortec’s championship leader Linus Granfors, with Elite’s Alisha Palmowski a tenth further back in third.
KMR Sport’s title challenger Harry Burgoyne improved up to fourth in the final session, 0.128s clear of Elite’s Finn Harrison, with Graham Brunton Racing’s Callum Baxter 0.039s in arrears to complete the top-six.
Arden’s Leon Wilson was next up and the final driver within a second of Blakeley’s impressive effort, and ahead of Fox Motorsport’s Branden Templeton, series newcomer Nickolas Ellis (Elite) and fellow debutant Aleksander Mizera (Idola) who completed the top-10.
On the combined times, Blakeley and Granfors’ session three effort ensured they filled the top two spots for the day as a whole, ahead of Palmowski, Baxter, Wilson and Harrison, who set their best times this morning.
Burgyone was seventh overall thanks to his final effort, with Templeton (session two), Fortec’s Jack Taylor (session one) and Mizera (session two) the top-10 on Friday, covered by little over a second.
