Luke Hilton has been confirmed as Douglas Motorsport’s first driver in the GB4 Championship, as he gears up for a debut season of single-seater racing.
The talented young racer, hailing from Essex, has made an instant impression in his fledgling racing career. Luke embarked on a maiden car racing campaign in 2023 that saw him collect multiple victories, podiums, lap records and pole positions to finish as Vice Champion in the Fiesta Junior Championship. He then rounded out the year in style with yet more silverware in the Radical World Finals at Portimao on his competitive debut.
2024 saw Luke continue on his impressive journey, with two victories, a lap record and pole positions in the Gulf Radical Cup kick-starting the year, which he then followed up with a Radical Cup UK campaign that saw him continue his form with multiple podiums and fastest laps.
Luke, who is backed by Mark Blundell’s MBP firm, now teams up with Douglas Motorsport, as both prepare for their maiden campaigns in the GB4 Championship.
Luke Hilton said: “I cannot wait to get going in 2025. Making my single-seater debut and taking that next step in my career is incredibly exciting and an opportunity for which I am very grateful. Teaming up with the fantastic team at Douglas Motorsport means I will have a brilliant team and expertise behind me every step of the way. We have enjoyed working together so far and I am confident I have the best people around me as I take on my debut season in single-seaters.
“I would also like to express my thanks for the support of everyone involved, particularly from my family and MBP as we take this next step on the journey together. Bring on 2025!”
Douglas Motorsport Team Principal Wayne Douglas said: “We’re excited to welcome Luke onboard as we partner together for the 2025 season in GB4.
