Fortec Motorsport’s title challenger Linus Granfors was fastest for the third session in succession at Silverstone on Thursday, but this time by a much closer margin.

The Swede, who had topped session one and two today by 0.7s and 1.2s respectively, saved his best lap of 2m01.238s until the end of the day’s running, but was this time just 0.059s clear of KMR Sport’s Snetterton race winner Lucas Blakeley.

Elite Motorsport duo Alisha Palmowski and Finn Harrison completed a session three top-four that was covered by just over a quarter of a second around GB4’s longest circuit of the year.

The second KMR Sport car of Harry Burgoyne was fifth quickest, a quarter of a second clear of Fox Motorsport’s Branden Templeton, with Graham Brunton Racing’s Callum Baxter just over a tenth of a second in arrears to take seventh.

Leon Wilson put his Arden Motorsport car into eighth spot, 0.019s further back from Baxter and clear of the third KMR car of Chloe Grant.

Fortec Motorsports’ Jack Taylor completed the top-10 ahead of Megan Bruce (Fox) and Dan Hickey (Fortec).
