The British Racing Drivers' Club is very committed to supporting and promoting the prospects for young British racing drivers aiming for F1 and is a major partner with MSV for the GB4 Championship.
The BRDC plays an active role in the operation of the championship with specific benefits including:
- High profile support and following for GB4 in BRDC communications, including regular updates on the BRDC website.
- All GB4 cars carrying the BRDC logo, with prominent branding also visible on paddock vehicles, podiums and the championship's online channels.
- Entry to the BRDC Clubhouse for GB4 drivers and three members of their family at Silverstone GB4 events. At both events, complimentary teas and coffees will be available, plus access to the private grandstand and covered roof terrace. A cash bar will also be in operation. Lunch is also available with two and three course options. Limited places will be available for other guests, on request. Details will be sent to all participating drivers ahead of each Silverstone round.
BRDC Vice President Derek Warwick commented: “I am delighted to extend our support to GB4, a much-needed low-cost single seater championship for junior drivers. Crucially it will attract talented youngsters who otherwise could not afford the step up from karts to circuit racing, which is great news for British motorsport.
“I congratulate MSV and in particular Jonathan Palmer for his continued drive to make single seater motorsport affordable for aspiring new racing drivers. The relationship with MSV has honed the talent of so many great drivers, dating all the way back to the original BRDC F4 Championship in 2013.“
